The exclusive condusive reclusive

Hello dearest readers, so nice to still have you!

Here we are in Sydney... and time is flying rapidly! After an initial adaptation phase I am happy to say that I've grown quite used to the house-wife role... I cook meals, do shopping, stay at home most of the day and do computer stuff... its like being back in Amsterdam again! Only, I'm on the other wise of the world. Sure the weather is generally really good [30+ with sunshine more than half the time] - but I've just been loving the lazy lifestyle... it's crazy how one craves it after just 2 months on the road; I can see my brain has been properly molded for modern-man's living.

"Yo its all about da STRIPES!"

Of course, staying at home a lot means I am spending very little money, just food and the odd activity. And saving money is good, means I can do more later for longer... cash definetly needs to flow a lots less quickly now if I am to survive into Japan without having to become a begging budist.
:-P

Ihor and I have been having loads of fun together. Indoor climbing, walks on the beach, role playing games, movie nights, parties, festivals, theater, you name it.

OH and; For those who don't know, I got dreadlocks made about 2 weeks ago!

Somehow getting them done was a real positive turning point and I went from feeling "lost", to having direction nearly over night. Ever since then my sense of conviction has just been building momentum, like a spinning turbine - not that my turbine has been getting me anywhere as I haven't really left the door much at all in weeks! But the road will open up before me soon enough, so I am just enjoying this hermitage while it lasts!

This weekend there will be a nice full weekend with warehouse parties and hopefully some surfing - and then next week I leave Sydney and go to Melborne and the "Earthcore" festival [some multistage camping [trance] outdoor party].

I'll only be in Melborne for about a week, but I think thats enough, and then its off to New Zealand...

So no desert landscapes, probably no kangeroos [and i dont want to see them in a zoo], and no west coast... but I can always come back after NZ to stay longer in Australia if I feel that I am missing something.

It seriously feels like a life time ago that I was on the road;... it's amazing how quiclkly the brain forgets and adapts.

I'm still concerned to find a good place to live and work in NZ, its a lot of research work, but I trust that the right thing will manifest [and if it doesn't I'll stay uplate to make it!].

So, I do have some new things to show as well... on my art website I uploaded the cards I used at burningman:
